Ice after CO2

Normally we use ice after any eyelid procedure for 48 hours. After this point there is not much effect on the swelling.

How long to use ice

Whether you have CO2 laser or sprain your ankle, it is helpful to use ice or cold compresses for the first 48-73 hours to minimize inflammation and swelling. Thereafter cold compresses can be counter-productive.
