What is the cost difference between 2 medium versus one large applicator for the abdomen?

Thank you for your question. This price would usually be the same. However, I would speak to your provider as it varies slightly from clinic to clinic. Ensure that you consult with a physician with expertise in CoolSculpting. Regards,

CoolSculpting Applicators

The cost for two medium applicators vs. one larger applicator is usually about the same.  It can vary from office to office, but because the cost to use the larger applicator is a lot more than the medium one and it treats double the amount of fat, it usually costs the same as two.  It usually isn't a choice between the two if you are looking for the right treatment plan and results.  Make sure to see a Certified CoolSculpting Specialist to determine the correct treatment plan for you.

What is the cost difference between 2 medium versus one large applicator for the abdomen?

Thanks for your question and as always, I recommend that one has a consultation with a board certified dermatologist or plastic surgeon to learn the best way to use the CoolSculpting applicators. Sometimes one needs to use the large applicator to debulk the fat and then the smaller ones to treat the remaining areas that are affected. Sometimes one large treatment will do and sometimes the smaller ones work best. We want to treat the best way we can to get the best results. Prices vary depending on where you are – NYC and LA prices are typically more expensive than what we charge in Nashville or what they charge in Springfield, VA. But while price is important, having the proper treatment is more important. Best of luck.

Cost on 2 VS. the large

Dear Seacretsam, the cool core/curve/fit applicators generally cost $700-800 each. The Cool Max (largest) one usually is double the smaller one because it costs more to run and it's 2 1/2 times the volume of treatment surface area. If you go to a reputable practice, the best thing is getting the right treatment plan and then secondly your cost! Hope that helps.

Your provider determines whether 2 of the medium applicators or 1 of the large applicators is a better choice for the particular area that you are addressing . Either or they address the same amount of area and typically cost about the same . It will take alittle longer for the treatment to be performed with the 2 applicators than the 1

Cost of Coolsculpting Procedure

Cost varies from provider to provider.  The larger handpiece typically costs twice as much as the smaller handpiece.  The reason to use two smaller handpieces as opposed to a larger handpiece may be that the smaller handpiece is a better fit and the larger handpiece may not be able to grab onto the fat.  Cost for the smaller handpiece for our practice is 750 and for the larger handpiece is 1500 dollars

Cost difference between 2 medium applicators versus on large applicator for CoolSculpting on the abdomen

There are really only two different sized applicators for treating the abdomen with CoolSuclpting.  The larger applicator essentially treats the same amount as two of the smaller applicators.  Sometimes it may be fit the patient better to use two of the smaller applicators rather than one of the larger ones when treating the abdomen.  The cost difference will vary by physician.  Some may charge exactly twice the amount of the smaller applicator for the larger applicator.  Some physicians may charge differently.
