I'm on day 5 after having lots of large brown sun spots on hands burnt with nitrogen. Will they slough off without scabbing?

They look very fierce but dont seem to be forming scabs. Will these spots still slough off without developing scabs

This is normal. Use an occlusive moisturise like vaseline, prevent infection and scabbing and sun protect. Once your skin heals the area will be red for up to 4-6 weeks, kind regards, Dr Davin Lim. Brisbane. Australia.

Depending on length of freeze this will require one to two weeks to resolve and will leave temporary redness.

Thank you for your question.  Keep your wounds clean and moist to ensure good healing.  Fortunately scarring is unlikely with this treatment.
