How is Fraxel Repair done, what is the procedure? Thanks in advance!

Fraxel RePair

This is a very old laser system that uses fractional CO2 laser with a consumable rolling tip. It is still a good laser for skin rejuvenation, but other CO2 lasers are better. See the video for my review on Fraxel RePair.

Fraxel repair = fractional ablative laser resurfacing

Fraxel repair is a fractional ablative laser resurfacing that generates thousands of microscopic zones of ablation ("holes") in the skin leading to new collagen creation and tissue contraction.  It is an excellent treatment for wrinkles and scars.  The treatment requires post-laser care by the patient for 3-4 days and the skin can remain pink for a couple of weeks.  It is an excellent option for patients with significant photoaging and scarring.  -Dr. Keaney
