Acne on my cheeks after ND YAG laser hair removal

Question

I am doing ND YAG laser hair removal on my face but i started getting small Acne acne after my third session. Specifically under cheeks.And i have never had any acne under my cheeks.Im doing my 7th session and one session remaining. Will this acne formation remain forever ?

It is not uncommon to experience acne breakouts after having laser hair removal particularly on the face. Since the oil glands are attached to the hair follicles, the heat from the laser can stimulate oil production. I would suggest using an acne cleanser containing benzoyl peroxide or salicylic acid to minimize the acne, especially if you are acneic.
