Will the injections hurt? How many will I need?

If you have vaginismus, you will not be able to tolerate anything being inserted into the vagina. Therefore, you will be asleep under IV sedation when the botox injections are administered. This is not the same thing as having botox injected on your face. It's a completely different treatment. The number of injections varies, but I usually place at least 10 and at least 100 units.
