Is Elite iQ the best laser hair removal option for dark skin?

I read that the Elite iQ's Skintel technology makes it well suited to darker skin tones because of its ability to adjust for different melanin levels, which is a big selling point for this treatment. How does it compare with other laser hair removal options for people of color? And even bearing this technology in mind, what are the possible risks for people with darker skin tones?

Hello. IPL should always be used by a trined professional, since using the wrong settings can stain or burn your skin. I would not recommend to do this at home. You should always go back to where you did the hair removal for the yearly touch up.
Basically you want to wait until all the incisions are completely healed before proceeding with laser hair removal. On average we would recommend 8 weeks after surgery to be completely safe and reduce risk of side effects or infection.
Thank you for your question. You can most definitely get laser hair removal after having implants. The laser does not go deep enough to puncture or hurt the implant!
