How Far Into The Vagina is The Laser Hand piece Inserted?

Just how far does the hand piece go? Does it depend on the purpose of the treatment?

The FemiLift probe is inserted into the apex of the vagina

The FemiLift probe is advanced into the vagina until it reaches the apex - the deepest area of the vagina. Depth varies from woman to woman, but treatment begins at the apex and continues toward the vaginal introitus in stepwise fashion.

Femilift probe

The Femilift probe is inserted to the apex of the vagina.  The depth will vary for each woman as the length of every woman's vagina is different.  The treatment begins at the apex and continues to the introitus, the vaginal opening.  The depth of insertion should not vary, as treating the entire vagina will give you the best results, no matter what symptoms you are trying to treat.

Thank you for your question. During FemiLift treatment, the Nurse Practitioner will place a probe into your vaginal cavity. This will be very reminiscent of a typical gynecological exam and will not be painful. The probe will send laser energy into all 360 degrees of your vaginal tissues and help your internal and external tissues to tighten and become more youthful. Typically patients do a series of 3 treatments for maximum results. However, I recommend getting a in person consultation with a board-certified dermatologist.

Vaginal placement of the FemiLift device

The FemiLift laser device is gently inserted to the top of the vagina and rotated during the treatment as it is gradually moved down to the vaginal opening. In this way, a good treatment of the entire vaginal wall can be performed.

FemiLift - don't be scared

The treatment probe is inserted to the apex of the vagina.  Every woman is different in this regard.  This length varies widely.  Once at the apex, the treatment continues down the entire length of the vagina.  In any case - the procedure takes less than 10 minutes start to finish.

The entire vagina

Femilift is intended to be used to treat the entire vagina.  The handpiece is placed to the full length of the vagina, through rotation and retraction the entire vagina is treated.  Several treatments are recommended for optimal effects, over 3-4 months time.
