Will a bump on my gum after implant surgery disappear on its own? (photos)

I have had implants about 6 months ago, about 5 months during covered healing, the one on the front right side throbs. There is also a bump on the roof of my mouth close to this implant that had appeared after the implant and remained since then. My dentist then exposed this implant but the bump had gotten bigger. Will this bump go away on its own when my gums heal?

A bump that appears after implant placement can be swelling from the trauma of surgery, but it should go away within a week or two.  Throbbing around implants is usually an indication that there is something happening within the bone.  Aching and throbbing can occur following implant placement, but again should go away.  The photograph is difficult to read and I don't see any portion of the implant above tissue (meaning that it was exposed).  It does look like the implants were accessed and there is a surgical incision.  When your dentist completed this procedure, did he/she notice any infection around the implants?  If the throbbing is still occurring after 6 months, you must inform your dentist.  A radiograph will show signs of bone loss or infection.
