There is price variation based on the area you live and the experience of the Surgeon. Somewhere within the $10-20K range is average in the United States. We post our price ranges on our website to give prospective patients an idea. It is a far better idea to base your decision on quality and experience than price.
I echo the sentiments of the other plastic surgeons--there is variability in the costs associated with a facelift associated with geographic region, the experience and expertise of the plastic surgeon, and even related to whether they ARE a board-certified plastic surgeon versus a surgeon that does not have training in plastic and reconstructive surgery (and is therefore not certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery). Further, there are some patients who will need additional procedures at the time of their facelift to give the optimal results--fat grafting to restore volume for example--and these added components likely will increase the costs. The lowest cost alternative is not necessarily the best value, especially when it comes to your face and health. Best wishes for a beautiful result!
There is a very wide variability in facelift pricing - this is due to the number of different techniques, geographical location, and experience/reputation (and hopefully skill) of the surgeon. Average prices are probably somewhere between $10-15000 but they can certainly go up. Best.
Hello and thank you for your question. Cost for a facelift varies by geographic region and surgeon expertise. Far more important than price, is to find a surgeon you are comfortable with. I recommend that you seek consultation with a qualified board-certified plastic surgeon who can evaluate you in person.
Best wishes and good luck.

Thanks for your question. The price will vary by the surgeon and the area you live in. You want to look for a board certified plastic surgeon who specializes in facial cosmetic procedures. Look for a highly experienced plastic surgeon. Be sure to look at the before/afters on the site, check their board certification on The American Board of Plastic Surgery website, ask you physician for referrals, etc.
A facelift will cost $10-$15,000 depending on the skills and efficiency of the surgeon.
The most important determinant in the outcome of the facelift is a choice of surgeon. The least expensive is not necessarily the best deal. The most expensive is not necessarily the most talented.
Prices for facelift surgery will vary based on experience or lack of experience of the surgeon. Also, prices vary depending on your geographic location. Price should not be your main concern regarding surgery on your face. Consult with only board certified plastic surgeons who are highly experienced and trained for your best result.
Unless you are willing to have a procedure done someplace other than your locale, call around your area for the price and what is included in that price. But remember that price is not the most important thing to explore---look for experience and results and then ask from that group what are their prices.
In our practice, the fee runs around $16,000 but we are in Miami and more of a Mercedes practice. We are not competing on price, but attract patients based on our reputation. Less affluent parts of the country and less experienced surgeons will generally charge less. But remember, it is your face. do you really want to shop for the best price for that? the most important component is does the surgeon do a lot of facelifts? That is a good starting point to find the right one for you
Best of luck
WHAT IS THE NORMAL OR ACCEPTABLE PRICE FOR A FACE LIFT
Costs for a facelift will certainly vary depending on your geographic location. Things to factor in for the facelift standpoint will be the facility fee, anesthesia fee, surgeon fee, other fees (e.g., materials, surgical garment, etc.). A range in price ~$8000-25000 is not unreasonable. $10-12k would be a reasonable cost on average, depending on the type of facelift. A consultation with a plastic surgeon will help you in determining which procedure(s) would be the right one for you. Cost also depends on the complexity of your case and how much work would need to be done to achieve an aesthetically-pleasing result for you. Good luck!
