How much does it cost to replace a bridge?

Generally speaking, the cost of the bridge will depend on the number of units in the bridge.  For example, if you had one tooth missing, then you likely have a 3 unit bridge.  If more than 1 tooth missing, then you may have a 4 or 5 unit bridge.  Most bridges are 3 units.  Your cost will be per unit.  In St. Peters, MO, you may expect to pay somewhere between $2500 and $3500 out-of-pocket for a new 3 unit bridge.  However, I would encourage you to go get a simple exam (maybe 50 bucks) to determine whether the bridge can be saved or not.  If it can, then great.  Good luck and I hope this helps. Hi, the most important thing is how many tooth have the bridge, then we have to evaluate your support teeth to see if don't need root canal or is just a cavity. 

If you are having pain with an anchor tooth for the bridge there may be additional concerns that need to be taken into account.  If there is infection in one of the teeth then there would be need for a root canal to save an anchor for the bridge.  The cost of a bridge is going to depend on how many teeth it replaces and connects/anchors onto.  I would suggest first having the tooth/teeth that are having discomfort evaluated and determine the best course for treatment of the area.

Prices vary depending on which dentist you are seeing, and what material is being used.  Although for bridges, I like an all porcelain emax material, or possibly with a gold interior and porcelain on the outside, the prices will vary in many offices.  It is in your best interest to have a bridge made without cutting corners and paying a good amount because it's more of an investment. You want the restoration to last you a very long time, and you don't want to compromise that because of price.
