Runny nose after septorhinoplasty, what is causing this?

I had a septorhinoplasty done 6 months ago. The surgeon also did turbinate reductions in the inferior turbinate. My nose is constantly runny now. What could be causing this problem? Can it be fixed?

Your airway is more open and your sinuses are draining through the nose. Thats the way it is suppose to work.
If you have excessive drainage, you should consult your surgeon. In general, a decongestant may reduce the drainage and nasal saline sprays may also dry it up.
