Why am I having pimple breakout after full body laser? (Photo)

I am a male 34 years. I started having monthly full body laser hair removal 4 months ago. I am noticing I have pimple breakout all over my body after each laser session and is getting worse. Doctor instructed to us Elica cream after laser treatment but still. I see mixed colored pimples white and red. The worst are on my legs and thighs (see photo). I’m also using AHA 20% body lotion with little improvement.

You should be seeing your doctor regularly for management.  Hopefully he/she is a cosmetic dermatologist familiar with lasers and their side effects.  This will  get better- but you will need more than ICE balm.

The cuts from shaving will be closed in 48 hours so laser hair removal should be safe as it is a closed procedure.  However, be sure to tell your treating physician or provider about the injury prior to treating.
