Retin-A and rosehip seed oil - can I mix them together?

Can i mix my moisturizer with rosehip seed oil before i apply my Retin-A, or the oil won't allow the Retin-A to pentrate my skin??

When using Retin-A, you want to listen to what your primary doctor suggests. Most Doctors suggest mixing your Retin-A with your moisturizer. Why? So it does not strip your skin barrier. The rule of thumb in skin care is to layer products from thinnest to thickest. Most people don't know what skin type they have and use over-moisturizing products when they have combination skin, or dry, sensitive skin. The idea of putting oil on your face is a little unsettling unless you're getting a facial/treatment. The reason being there are so many more ingredients/products that work better and aren't as heavy on the skin. Oils can be tricky when trying to incorporate them into a regimen. I would suggest replacing your oil with a SkinCeuticals H.A. Intensifier (liquid filler). As we age we lose more and more of the hyaluronic acid that we produce naturally so buying an H.A. serum and applying that before moisturizer a.m. & p.m. would be the perfect solution and works synergistically with Retin-A.
