Lip Reduction, or Cheiloplasty

A lip reduction, or cheiloplasty, would be an option. Again, I would agree to be conservative for this procedure. This is typically done by making an incision on the inside of your lip and removing a small amount of lip tissue. Procedures that enhance the "cupid's bow" are a different procedure and could leave a scar if not done properly. I would likely perform this procedure in stages starting with the reduction to see if you are achieving the goals you are wanting. Finding someone who has experience with these types of procedures is very important in any lip procedures.

fuller lips are in vogue now although you can have your lips reshaped and made a little less fuller. this can be easily done as an office procedure using local anesthesia. be careful. you do not want them reduced too much
