Lumps from tear trough filler (Emerval). Any suggestions? (photos)

I had tear trough filler by a licensed dermatologist 3 days ago. She used emerval classic. There are hard lumps under my eyes. Is this a normal? Will they soften?

thanks for posting your question. Early on, there is still some minor swelling. Wait 10-14 days after the injection, if the irregularities are still present then discuss it with your dermatologist. This area is notorious for having lumps due to the thin nature of the skin. Good luck.

Dear Jean,

Thank you for your question.

The undereye area has very thin skin, so it is very common to have swelling and feel lumpiness early on. On average, fillers take 2 weeks to see their final result.

So it is best to review with your doctor after 2 weeks.

I hope this helps.
