What is reducing a breast size 34DDD by half in terms of cup size?

I am 61 yr old woman and having a breast reduction next month. My doctor said that my breast (34DDD) are going to be reduced by half. What is half size in my case? Thanks for your help.

At
size 34 each 100 grams of tissue corresponds to 1 cup size change.  You have about 600 grams breasts and reducing
them by half you produce 300 gram breasts or a size C.  I recommend a new technique called The
Ultimate Breast ReductionTM. 
This technique avoids the ugly vertical scars of the traditional technique,
maintains nipple sensation and the ability to breast feed.  The breasts are reshaped creating upper pole
fullness, elevated higher on the chest wall and more medial to increase your
cleavage.  Pain is relieved by
transferring the weight of the breast to the underlying muscle.  Excessive reduction is not required to
eliminate pain.  The most frequent

Congratulations on your decision to proceed with breast reduction surgery; this operation tends to be one of the most patient pleasing operations we perform. I would suggest that you spend additional time communicating with your plastic surgeon. Show him/her what size breast size you would like to achieve; in my practice I asked patience to use as many "visual aids" as possible. Also show him/her what you would consider to be too large and too small. Avoid terminology such as "C or D," or "proportionate"; these terms can be a source of miscommunication.

Maya1000-It is tough to say exactly what cup size you will be after a breast reduction. See if your plastic surgeon can tell you what cup size you will likely be. Good luck with surgery.
