Red Veins in Eyes. Removal or Whiten Eyes?

Hi I have lots of red veins in my eyes the sclera looks full of tiny and some large veins. Is there any doctor in Seattle that whitens the eyes or removes at least the large veins? Thanks Aaaliyah

This really depends on the cause of your red eyes. If they are red because of allergies, dry eyes or blepharitis, they will improve with treatment. If that is simply your natural color, there is a cosmetic eye whitening procedure called I-Brite, but I do not perform it myself and am cannot comment on it's safety or efficacy.

Usually veins are enlarged because of an underlying cause: dry eyes, inflammation, allergy, etc. You should see your eyecare provider to address any medical issues. LUMIFY is an over the counter drop that safely reduces redness and works specifically on veins (more than arteries). You can consider using that on an as needed basis. Lasering the vessels is generally just temporary and surgical removal carries some risks.
