Recovery after Breast Implant Removal?

Thank you for the question.

Removal of breast implants is generally a quick procedure;  even with an associated infection the procedure will probably take under an hour. Recovery is generally painless;  however, recovery may be prolonged if an infection is present because of the need for dressing changes and/or drain management.

For a more precise estimate you will need to check with your plastic surgeon who knows exactly what is planned.

Best wishes.

Breast implant removal surgery does not ususally take that long.  Most can be done within thirty minutes to an hour.  It all depends upon how complicated it is.   Recovery depends upon how extensive the infection was.
