I want to know my options on a strengthening my hair and help with my hairline feels like I have too much forehead now This sucks and is killing my confidence.Is there any hope with hair transplant to regain my hair and also to lower my hairline?
Answer: Hair transplant at 22 years old Thank you for your question and for posting photos. You are fortunate that your hairline has not significantly receded. Prevention/reduction of future hair loss is a critical component in managing androgenetic alopecia in young individuals. Medical and non-surgical management with Propecia (finasteride) and low level laser therapy (LLLT) are excellent options for this. Hair restoration surgery certainly could be performed. If this is done, it is critical to be conservative and avoid over aggressive hairline lowering. In other words, you will need to be comfortable with a slightly more "mature" hairline than you likely had at 18. There are only so many donor grafts that can be harvested and you need to plan for the future should additional transplantation be necessary to treat other areas.I recommend you consult with a surgeon who is experienced hair restoration. Look at their before/after photos, listen to their recommendations and make an educated decision.Best of luck!

It would be prudent to start with non-surgical therapies such as minoxidil, finasteride, laser therapy and/ or PRP to stop and possibly reverse hair loss.
