If one does PRK and the correction is 1D - will there be a default amount of CCT destroyed in this process?

Hello my q is very technical and theoretical. if someone do prk and the correction is very low like 1D there will be a default amount of CCT destroyed in this process what is never growing back or just that the ~13μm for the 1D correction?
