When BA patients ask about a link between breast implants and autoimmune or connective tissue disorders, how do you respond?

The Mentor MemoryGel Physician Labeling pamphlet on the FDA website (page 18) says that studies about connective tissue disorders would need to be larger, not that there isn't a link. It goes on to say that "you should advise your patient that she may experience these signs and symptoms after undergoing breast implantation" when discussing undefined symptoms like fatigue, exhaustion, joint pain, muscle pain, cramping, tingling, numbness, weakness, & skin rashes. Larger studies need to be done.
