Can heat damage the skin?

I've read that heat can cause DNA and collagen damage, cause blood vessels to grow and become bigger and thin the skin. This deeply concerns me when I've had Fractional laser with terrible results scars, red blotches over my skin and my skin has become very thin and lost elasticity I know it wasn't like it before and now I've read this it makes scense.

Yes UV radiation damages skin, and burns can damage skin and cause scars. I suggest you see an expert if you are concerned.  Best, Dr. Emer.
