Should I opt for PRK surgery a third time or are there other options?

I'm a 57 yo female. I had PRK done in 1996 and an enhancement in 2007. One month following the enhancement I had a scary experience with sudden posterior vitreous detachment. No further complications, but it left me feeling very wary about ever having corrective surgery again. Only one year later, I required glasses again. I can't even comfortably wear contact lenses. I'm wondering if there is a safe surgery, whether it be PRK or another, given my history.
