Payment Plans for Tummy Tuck

Most plastic surgeons do not offer "in house" financing, but can help you obtain financing through companies like "Care Credit" that are set up for cosmetic surgery patients. Some patients use credit cards to make monthly payments. Find a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon that you feel comfortable with and ask for help in obtaining financing. Good Luck!

Could you pay the tummy tuck procedure in payment plan?

When it comes to cost of surgery, there may be many “variables” involved. The specific surgeon's credentials/experience level (or lack thereof), the specific geographic area you are looking at, the different operations available, the location of the procedure ( quality of surgery facility), type/quality of anesthesia provider… are some of the potential variables involved.  You will find some average costs of surgery listed on this website and on individual plastic surgeons' websites (including attached link) as well.

In regards to outcome of the planned procedure, more important than costs of the procedures will be careful selection of your plastic surgeon. I would suggest starting with the American Society of Plastic Surgery and/or the Aesthetic Society of Plastic Surgery to obtain a list of well experienced board-certified plastic surgeons.

Then, I would suggest you visit a few surgeons whose practices concentrate on aesthetic surgery. Ask to see lots of examples of their work and preferably speak/see patients who have had similar procedures done.

Be very careful with your decision-making. You will find, while doing your due diligence, that there are many different “specialties” who will offer their services to you; again, I strongly recommend you concentrate on surgeons certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. You will find that your plastic surgeon's office will be able to guide you when it comes to financing companies available for patients seeking aesthetic surgery.

Again, I would also suggest that you do not base your selection of plastic surgeon primarily on costs of surgery; keep in mind that revisionary surgery may be more costly in many ways.  Best wishes.

Finance.

Thank you for the question.

Most PS's practices have their own financing plans and options.

Tummy tuck financing

Many plastic and cosmetic surgeons use Carecredit for financing of cosmetic procedures you can go to their website and get pre-qualified for financing before even choosing  a surgeon

TT and payment plans

As my colleagues have discussed, there are a number of companies who will lend money  for cosmetic  surgery. PS may participate in different progras within the plan, for example, 12 month payment, interest free to you. There are longer plans up to 48 months, but  not all PS participate. Should you make a late payment, the interest rate sky-rockets to 15-20% so you must be VERY  careful and read the contract you  sign very carefully.

I wish you well !

Could you pay the tummy tuck procedure in payment plan?

The tummy tuck can be financed through many financing companies.

Try to research this to find the surgeon who consistently produces the results you would expect. Look at reviews on this site and see who gets the surgery right every time.

Find a board certified plastic surgeon who performs hundreds of tummy tucks each year. Then look at the plastic surgeon's website before and after photo galleries to get a sense of who can deliver the results.

Payment plan for plastic surgery

Most surgeons provide one or two options for financing their surgical procedures. CareCredit seems to be a popular option and one that we have partnered with in our office. The interest rates are variable depending upon the type of payback option chosen, but they seem to be reasonable. You never want to miss a payment with these plans, however, because the penalty fees can be quite pricey. Eligibility does depend upon your credit rating. The other option that our office provides is to simply collect the payments for a procedure until it is paid for and then proceed with the procedure. This doesn't seem much like a payment plan, but it does put the money away so that it is not spent on something else, which is actually helpful for some patients.

Payment Plans

Most PS offices are either associated with companies who do payment plans or have payment plans themselves.  It is a common practice

Could you pay the tummy tuck procedure in payment plan?

Absolutely. Most of Cosmetic Surgery Practices offer Financing options for patients. Once approved by them, a patient has multiple options in regards to payment plans including -- no interest plans.

Payment Plan for cosmetic surgery

There are several companies that offer payment plans to patients through the Plastic Surgeon's office.  Many of them have reasonable terms to make it easy for the patient to get their surgery done now and manage the payments over time without tying up a personal credit card.  When the surgery is being performed in an office ambulatory setting, the full amount of the charges can be put through the finance company. One of the most popular finance company is CareCredit.  Currently we have a program with them that offers low interest payments and at times no interest on a short term loan.
