Blurred vision in dark or dim lights two months after LASIK. My eyesight was -7 before surgery. Any suggestions?

The most common reason for blurred vision in low light after LASIK is residual refractive error (nearsightedness, farsightedness and/or astigmatism).  If when you visit your doctor, glasses correct the problem in a darkened room, you may simply need an enhancement surgery at the three month postop period.  If glasses don't correct the problem, you may have high-order aberrations (trace imperfections in the optics of your corneas) affecting the quality of your night vision.  Your surgeon should be able to perform a wavefront map of your eyes to see how it compares to your pre-LASIK levels.  If this is the problem, a wavefront-retreatment may be warranted, again at three months postop.If this is not the case, you may be suffering from dry eyes, which can blur the vision in low light (and in daytime).  The morning irritation you feel is likely from dryness, so this should be explored with your doctor.
