Long term dangers of microblading?

Question

I was all set to micro blade when I talked to my brow waxer. She said I should think more on it because it is something you can only do a few times & then the skin will no longer take the pigment & scar tissue would prevent future hair growth. Any truth to this? Would the skill of the technician make a difference? The one I spoke to said she only ever goes to first level of skin - but also said hers last 4-12 months when everywhere else i've read it lasts 1-3 years. Thoughts?

Microblading is a semi-permanent tattoo on the eyebrows that mimics real hair strokes for a more natural appearance. The depth of the stroke, the dermal-epidermal junction which is made up of loose connective tissues, has no real scarring reaction from the treatment. It does not cut deep enough to affect the hair follicle or hair growth making it a safe and effective treatment.  When done properly, the ink should last anywhere from 1-3 years, with no build-up of scar tissue to inhibit future treatments. All of this depends on proper technique, proper care during healing process and a body that is in good health with good healing capabilities.  Microblading is a safe and effective technique to help restore a youthful appearance of a natural looking eyebrow when done properly and on the right candidate

When done correctly microblade brows can last anywhere from 1-3 years. Retinol products and sun can lighten the pigment sooner. When done correctly the pigment is placed into the dermis. Our brows thin as we age which is why most people prefer to have their brows microbladed. There is no scarring to the area unless the procedure is done incorrectly.
There are many factors to consider with microblading. Advanced certificate is required,so make sure your provider has completed their training (not by watching you tube tutorials) make sure that the best pigments are being used, such as LI Pigments which are made in the USA. Pigments are very important and vary from each person. Colors need to be modified to each client. Ask for before and after photos. Microblading is an art and the canvas is your face, make sure your provider has the technique that attracts you. Hope this helps
