I had IPL for red veins - swollen and purple 2 days after? (Photo)

My cheeks are swollen and deep purple colour after ipl 2 days ago. Swelling got better but now one side is more swollen and warm. Is this normal?

Thanks for your question. IPL days after a Botox injection should not be a problem. Please inform your treatment provider to allow them to best advise you of their policies.

Laser results can take several weeks to settle and sometimes take a series of treatments to get improvement. I usually recommend a combination of treatments with IPL for best results. I suggest adding microneedling/prp and skin care to improve skin quality and tone once healed. See an expe...

Dark spots need a combination approach to get improvement. These can be improved with a combination of lasers, Aerolase, microneedling/prp, skin lightening, peels, and skin care. Sun protection is essential. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a cosmetic dermatologist. Best, Dr. Emer
