I have had braces before and I failed to wear my retainer so it is dental relapse. I was wondering how long I just want to have overall straight teeth again in the shortest amount of time possible with not costing too much. Thanks for the help!

There is also a technique, called Short term or 6 month braces that is ideal for people who have had prior orthodontics. Brackets are put back on for a 6 month period, more or less, and it is intended to only realign the front teeth.

An alternative to braces  would be invisalign.  It can take 6 -12 months for this procedure.  You can also make your teeth look straight with porcelain veneers in two visits. This procedure is recommended for patients who also want to change clor, shape or size of teeth in addition to straightening.
