What kind of surgeries does vaginal rejuvenation include to create the "designer vagina"?

Vaginal rejuvenation is used loosely as regarding to labiaplasty (majora and minora), vaginal tightening, G-spot enhancement, episoitomy repair and reduction of the clitoral hood. In the true sense, vaginal rejuvenation refers to the vaginal canal, the internal female sex organ. The other surgeries are done on the vulva or external female sex organs. Designer vagina is a horrible term (maybe great for marketing?). Every woman is different and will need a different surgical approach for improving the aesthetics or correct anatomical variations which are undesirable to that woman. It is not like a designer dress ("I'd like an Oscar de la Renta vagina"). If you have concerns about your female anatomy, best is to talk to and set up a consultation with your gynecologist, offering these types of surgeries or plastic surgeons with experience in these surgeries. Good luck.

Vaginal Rejuvenation, What are the Choices, the Different Types, the Variations

Excellent question. The list of procedures that falls under the name Vaginal Rejuvenation is constantly expanding. Nonetheless, all of these procedures fall into categories depending upon which parts of the vagina are targeted. Check the link below for a detailed discussion of each type.

What kind of surgeries are there for the vaginal area?

The main proven ones are for "rejuvenation" of that area, which may involve correcting differences from one side to other, reducing the labia minora or majora and even plumping out different areas there and also resurfacing the area with a laser.

Vaginoplasty

Vaginal Rejuvenation (a.k.a. vaginoplasty) is performed to reconstruct (more or less tighten) the vaginal vault most commonly following natural vaginal birth. Again, like most other surgery, the experience of and “attention to detail” (a.k.a. compulsiveness) by the surgeon is the most important element to achieving a good result. Although there is some merit to Kegal exercises, many patients with laxity after natural vaginal birth fail to obtain sufficient tightening. For these patients, vaginoplasty, tightening of the vaginal vault muscles from the introits (opening) up to the cervix is typically the best solution. The procedure is commonly done on an outpatient basis in about an hour under either deep intravenous sedation or general anesthesia. Recovery is gradual but probably the worst for the first 4-5 days until swelling starts to reside then patients feel better each day thereafter. Sexual activity is usually refrained for about 6 weeks. In a study I was involved in back in 2009, 87% of vaginoplasty patients were satisfied with their results and had an improved sexual experience post-operatively. Typical (all inclusive) fee at my office/surgery center is $8500. Glad to help.

Various Surgeries Among Vaginal Rejuvenation

I perform a variety of treatments and surgeries to enhance, restore and rejuvenate the female genital region. This includes procedures to improve moisture, sensitivity and tighten the vaginal canal and enhancing orgasm. The treatments and surgeries also restore or improve the appearance of the vulva including; the labia minora, labia majora, the clitoral region and the vestibule of the vagina. The mons pubis can also be improved upon if necessary. There are many names for these procedures which include: Designer Vagina, Laser Vaginal Rejuvenation, LVR, Monsplasty, Labiaplasty, Labia Rejuvenation, Cosmetic Vaginal Surgery, Aesthetic Vaginal Sugery, Perineoplasty, and Hymenoplasty. Vaginal Enhancement Surgery is basically cosmetic surgery of a woman’s “Private Parts” or genital region.

Often times a small triangular area is also excised from the perineum (the area right below the vaginal opening). This is called a perineoplasty or perineorrhaphy. The size of the tissues removed rarely are larger than a domino block. If needed, sutures that bundle loose muscles together are used to narrow the vaginal opening.
If necessary, this may be combined with a #Labiaplasty which is a surgical procedure that will reduce and/or reshape the #labia. Labia minora are the inner lips of the vagina that cover the female clitoris and vaginal opening. Women with excessively large labia may experience pain during sexual relations, feel discomfort during normal activities or while wearing tight clothing. Or, the labia may be asymmetric or may #hang below the labia majora (the outer lips of the vagina) which some women find this unattractive. At times the outer labia or labia majora may also be excessively large, uneven, or may be too small. The size may be increased with fat injections.

The best procedure approach will be discussed in greater detail during your one-on-one consultation.

What is included in vaginal rejuvenation

There are many different things that can be done during a vaginal rejuvenation surgery to create the "designer vagina." What determines which procedures/techniques will be performed are the overall goals of the patient. Every patient has unique anatomy and unique goals for their surgery. It is important to find a board certified plastic surgeon with expertise in vaginal rejuvenation surgery so that you get the results you are dreaming of. During a consultation with the board certified plastic surgeon he/she should listen to your concerns and goals for surgery so that he/she can come up with the best surgical plan for you. Good luck!

What is vaginal rejuvenation

"Vaginal rejuvenation" is a non specific term  indicating that the vaginal area has been "rejuvenated". The patient and her surgeon after examination can determine what parts of the female genital organ need enhancement. This could be external  like the labiae majora and minoras, clitoris, perineal body, etc..., or, it could be internall, like the inroitus, posterior fourchette, vaginal canal,G spot, vaginal wall, mucosa and rugae, pelvic floor muscles...etc...
