Don't touch my nasal spine! Does this have to be performed?
I have a deviated septum and a crooked nose with a bit of a twisted tip. My nasal spine is sort of pushed to one side of my nose, making one nostril hang down more than the other. Every doctor I've seen wants to shave down my nasal spine as part of the straightening/tip surgery. I'm sorry, but I hate what trimming a prominent nasal spine does to my appearance head-on. It shortens the nose and lengthens the upper lip. Does this have to be performed?
