It’s been three months since i last got laser hair removal on my face and at the time I got burns on my face which developed into dark black spots all around my lower face and neck. It’s looks terrible, how do I make it go away? Is it hyperpigmenation. My skin is completely discolored on my neck now and it’s scaring me? How do I fix this??!!

Hyperpigmentation can be improved with a combination of lasers, Aerolase, microneedling/prp, skin lightening, peels, and skin care. Sun protection is essential. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a cosmetic dermatologist. Best, Dr. Emer

The hyper pigmentation does fade in most situations. Stop laser treatments. Avoid sun and use a sunblock daily. There are medical grade skin lightening creams that may help.

I am sorry you have had an unpleasant outcome with your treatment. From your picture your skin is type 4 or 5 which means you need extra attention when using laser light. At this point you should not do any more sessions. I hope you had the treatment performed in a medical setting with an experienced physician. In order to help those spots to fade I recommend you use a prescription skin lightner, avoid sun exposure, and wear full sun block when outdoors. It might take many months for your skin to improve.
