upper and lower jaw bones in good shape,would like to know the cost of upper and lower overdentures with 2 abutments ball or bar in each denture and does 2 abutments hold the denture fairly good.do not think i can afford all in 4 thank you fore the help

The cost of implant overdentures depends on the number of implants involved.  The lower jaw with more favorable bone can support a denture on as few as 2 implants.  On two implants the denture still moves but does not easily pop out.  The more implants are placed the more stable the denture.  If 4 implants are used the stability is great like a chair on 4 legs.   The cost of a lower overdenture starts at $6000.  An upper overdenture requires more implants because the bone is softer.  The cost of an upper overdenture starts at $12,000.   Typically a full mouth upper and lower overdentures your looking at under $20,000 while a fixed solution would start at the low $40,000.   Hope this helps in finding the right solution for you.
