Is It Normal to Have Deep Wrinkles All Around my Eyes After a Fractional Laser Blepharoplasty?

I had a full face laser peel to address minor issues at age 29. Afterwards, it left me with deep wrinkles all around my eyes and sagging lids. The texture of my skin is also rougher and my pores have enlarged dramatically. This has aged me a good 15 years. I'm one year post op and no improvement. Worst money I ever spent. I look way worse than I did before getting the procedure done.

Many patients have disappointing results with Fraxel therapy.

It doesn't surprise me that deep wrinkles will persist after treatment with the Fraxel laser. There may be some improvement with time but I doubt it.

This certainly sounds like an unusual response from a full face laser peel.  Your poor result may that you were a better candidate for a different laser or treatment. Need to submit photos for more input.

Yes.  Following a skin resurfacing treatment of any type, your skin is thinner and may look like crepe paper.  As the collagen matures and the skin thickens, this will be improved as time goes on.  If, after 3 months things still look like they are wrinkled then you may benefit from a touch up treatment.
