Hey so I have a mini tattoo on my hand that is relatively new. It’s smaller than a dime. When I did it I wasn’t thinking or even had the slightest thought of possibly joing the air force but now I am. So I believe I will have to get it removed in order to join.

Small tattoos, such as this, can be easily treated with infrared coagulator (IRC) treatments. These treatments can be used for all tattoo colors. Althernatively, if you are simply interested in obliterating the tattoo and don't care whether the area develops a small scar there, you might look into simple, reliable  and inexpensive treatments, such as manual dermasanding or conventional electrocautery.  Fees vary and are dependent upon such factors as which treatment is used, the expertise and experience of the provider (whether a physician or not), the location of the facility performing the treatment, etc. But, you can get a price quote before going forward with any treatment.
