I have a sharp pain on my side/upper ribs but no visual complications. Should I be worried?

I am 2 1/2 weeks post operation for my left breast bottoming out revision surgery. I developed pain after 2 weeks of a perfect recovery. It feels achy and might be a little swollen. Should I be worried?

I appreciate your question.

Since there has been a change in your post op course, please contact your surgeon so he/she can examine you and recommend the most appropriate treatment plan at this time.

The best way to assess and give true advice would be an in-person exam.  Please see a board-certified plastic surgeon that specializes in aesthetic and restorative breast surgery.

Best of luck!

The discomfort you may be feeling may be related to your increased activity level. Hard to say without an exam.

Difficult to tell without additional information.  I would contact your surgeon to see if additional studies are necessary.
