What is better for wrinkles - Ematrix or fractional laser? How many treatments would one need of either to begin to see results?

EMatrix and fractional lasers for skin wrinkles - Williamsville, NY

Thank you for your question.

Down time is worse with fractional lasers, but both eMatrix and fractional lasers have a role in treating skin wrinkles.

An in person consultation and examination will determine which is best for your skin.

EMatrix and Fraxel for Wrinkles

Both eMatrix and Fraxel (Fractionated Lasers) work exceedingly well for wrinkles.  It all depends on the type of wrinkles and the skin coloring which laser I would choose.  It is best to consult with an expert in these lasers.  Best, Dr. Green

Lasers work better than RF

It really depends on several factors including the type of laser, the power, and the amount of passes. This is similar with eMatrix, the amount of overlap and Joules per pin will vary depending on the Specialist you see.

Overall, lasers work better, however downtime is more with laser treatment compared to eMatrix. Results can be modest to marked with both, depending on the settings.
