Pain pump catheter removal?

I need a second opinion! My catheter broke away from my pain pump and is still under my skin. (It was caught on a stitch.) Does this need to be removed or is it ok to stay under my skin? Could it cause any problems?

It is best to have it removed as soon as possible. Any foreign body is a potential nidus for infection. Best of luck.
