Can antihistamines or steroid nasal spray reduce the Inflammatory response and collagen building from laser treatments?

Several Doctors on Realself have stated that it is advisable to not take anti-inflammatory steroids or certain pain killers after laser treatments/ ultherapy, because they could theoretically reduce the inflammatory response which creates the new collagen. Therefore, could antihistamines or steroid nasal sprays (used for chronic dust allergy) also reduce this "good" inflammatory response? Thanks
