Would a DNA appliance make a gap in front teeth worse or create more gaps between teeth?

I am a 27 year old looking into getting a DNA appliance (Vivos) for TMJ and expanded airways but I am worried it will create space in my mouth where I do not want - between my teeth. Would that be the case? Here is a picture of my teeth
