I recently had to get an upper premolar (tooth#4) extracted. I do not want to go through the implant process for various health reasons so I’m looking to get a bridge. Regular dentist is reluctant due to adjacent teeth being healthy with one tooth only having some fillings and doesn’t think these teeth should be crowned. Why is a bridge in this situation not appropriate?
