Should I use at-home IPL after clinical laser hair removal?

I completed 9-10 sessions of clinical laser hair removal. It’s been 4mo since my last session. I am thinking about purchasing an at-home IPL device to maintain the areas I've treated. Im wondering if this is an effective way to remain hair free in the long term and whether there are any issues with using IPL after having been treated with clinical laser.
