Is it normal for microdermabrasion to cause scratches? (Photo)

I've had microderm before but this time I have discomfort on the left side of my face with cat like scratch markings :( I'm afraid it damaged my skin? Help!

Microdermabrasion is very superficial and should not cause scratches. If it was done with too much pressure or too quickly this could result. the good thing is that it is too superficial to scar

HiI am sorry to see you have had some discomfort following your Microdermabrasion procedure. This is not a usual contraction after treatment. It may have been performed with too much pressure. This should heal in time and I wouldn't imagine it would leave a permanent mark to the skin due to the depth of treatment being superficial.Hope this helpsKind regards
