Should I seek chin augmentation, jaw surgery, or short term orthodontics to improve my profile?
I don't like my profile. Even though I like the basic shape of my chin, it seems like my whole jaw is a bit recessed (Class II jaw?). I had orthodontics earlier, so my teeth are straight, but my bite has since become slightly misaligned and is by no means great. I have 6 months (August 2014 - February 2015) before I start college during which I could potentially get jaw surgery, a chin augmentation, or orthodontics. What would you advise? Thanks!

A chin implant is a relatively simple procedure that involves placement of a synthetic implant( Silastic) on the front of the chin to give further augmentation and improve facial balance. Chin implants are manufactured in a variety of sizes and shapes which can be determined at the time of examination and consultation. Chin implants are inserted through a sub mental approach, usually under local anesthesia. For many examples, please see the link below
