How long should I take muscle relaxers after the breast augmentation?

Ask your surgeon.

Different surgeons have different post op protocol.

Follow up with your surgeon as only your surgeon can ask your question.

Muscle relaxers after BA

Every surgeon has their own protocol for post op pain relief.  I don't routinely prescribe muscle relaxers after breast augmentation unless they need additional relief.  They are typically using the muscle relaxers for 7-10 days postop.

How long should I take muscle relaxers after the breast augmentation?

Thank you for your question.  In my practice I do not prescribe them.  If it is not needed why put additional drugs into one's body?  I would recommend you discuss this with your surgeon, clearly there are different protocols for post operative management of patients.  Your surgeon has a protocol that yields results that they are confident in.

How long do I take muscle relaxers for after breast augmentation?

Hello and thank you for your question.  Post-op regimens vary with different plastic surgeons; therefore you should talk to your plastic surgeon and see what they recommend that helps them to achieve the best results in their patient population.  I use a rapid recovery protocol and most of my patients are off of all narcotics and muscle relaxers within 3-7 days.

How long should I take muscle relaxers after the breast augmentation?

Best to ask your operating surgeon since every surgeon has a slightly different post op protocol based upon the type of surgery he or she performs. Best of luck for great results!

Muscle relaxers

I routinely give muscle relaxers after breast augmentation and patients usually are weaned off them by 1 week after surgery.

Post op muscle relaxers

Since every surgeon has his or her own unique post op protocol, you need to ask your surgeon who knows your case intimately.
