Does abdominal cool sculpture reduce the hormonal effects of belly fat in type II diabetics?

I understand liposuction does not. Thank you!

Does abdominal cool sculpture reduce the hormonal effects of belly fat in type II diabetics?

Thank you for your question. Visceral fat cannot be treated by CoolSculpting. The best thing for this issue would be a good exercise and diet plan.

Does abdominal cool sculpture reduce the hormonal effects of belly fat in type II diabetics?

No, insurance will not "cover" CoolSculpting for any reason.

Weight loss, however, can help improve Type II diabetes, though it may not have a significant effect or need for insulin or oral hypoglycemic drugs.

CoolSculpting remains elective and self-pay. As well as ineffective in changing need for insulin or oral hypoglycemic drugs. Best wishes! Dr. Tholen

Coolsculpting and belly fat

Coolsculpting will help to reduce the belly fat but has no effect on the hormones or with diabetes. Please consult an expert. Best, Dr. Green

CoolSculpting, bellyfat and diabetes.

When physicians refer to belly fat and its effects on diabetes, they are referring to the internal(deep to the muscle wall) fat also known as visceral fat.  This fat is not treated by CoolSculpting
