So I had a biopsy for a growth on my skin done on 10/28/24. It has since been ruled as benign (it was just a cyst), but my concern now is that the medical tape I was using left a lot of hyperpigmentation and skin discoloration. I used it from 10/28-aroune 11/2 and stopped when I realized I was reacting very poorly to it. My skin felt like I had burns and it looked very raw and irritated. So I opted for a bandaid. Is this square of discoloration permanent? It has not gone away since.
