Can I do Microneedling while taking Minocycline?

Hi, I am curently taking 50mg of minocycline twice a day to help control my acne. I would love to do a microneedling treatment to get rid of my acne scars but I am not sure if I can. Please let me know if it’s safe. Thank you!

Thanks for your question.  We never recommend dermarollers because it causes unnecessary dermal trauma.  Microneedling, especially with PRP is better because the needles travel perpendicularly to the skin surface.  If you think about the rollers, they go in at an angle, straighten up and com...
