Can I do Microneedling while taking Minocycline?

Hi, I am curently taking 50mg of minocycline twice a day to help control my acne. I would love to do a microneedling treatment to get rid of my acne scars but I am not sure if I can. Please let me know if it’s safe. Thank you!

Yes, it is perfectly fine to have a microneedling or Vampire Facial while taking Minocycline. There should be no side effects. This is a tetracycline derivative and can lead to increase skin sensitivity to lasers. However, I do lasers all the time with patients on the antibiotic - you just have to watch the skin to see how it is reacting.
