I wore braces for 2 years about 12 years ago and wore a retainer for years. However the gaps slowly came back.

SDC is a simplified forn of Invisalign treatment. What you would be missing out on is the expert opinion of a dentist as to why your gaps are coming back. It is usually due to your bite, clenching or failed retainer. You would have to have the retainer removed, aligners fitted and then a better retainer provided. Invisalign is always a more comprehensive option that DIY orthodontics.
