I still see halos/double vision/ghosting after 5 weeks of Lasik surgery, will it go away? Will eye floaters go away on its own?

It's been so far 5 weeks since my Lasik eye surgery. Overall, when I'm outside and its bright my eyes see pretty clear/sharp. 2 weeks after the surgery I noticed I had one floater in my left eye that I never had before? Will it go away? It wasn't there before my surgery. In my right eye the vision is slightly off then my left and it feels a bit uncomfortable. In my right eye, when ever i look at digital clocks or words, or at the TV with white letters black background it appears double/ghosting?

If you are experiencing a new floater, you should get dilated to ensure that everything is healthy in the back of your eye. Floaters typically become less bothersome with time and should not affect your vision. Halos and glare are common and normal at this point in your healing. They should become much more mild by the end of month 2 and barely noticeable by the end of month 6. Sometimes dryness can make halos, ghosting, and glare worse. Keep your eyes lubricated and these distortions can be reduced.
